Find a farmer or rancher to work your Texas land

Texas landowners can lower property taxes by keeping land in agricultural use. We match you with a local hay producer, rancher, beekeeper or wildlife plan writer who works your county.

How it works for landowners

  1. Tell us about your land. County, acreage and the uses you're open to. About two minutes.
  2. We find a fit. We review every submission by hand and introduce you to a producer who works your county and fits your acreage and access.
  3. You sign your own lease. Terms are between you and the producer. Your county appraisal district decides whether the land qualifies.

Pricing

One flat $49 listing fee, the same for every acreage and use. Your listing stays open for 24 months from payment, then expires. Nothing is due when you sign a lease. The fee is non-refundable. See the terms.

You and the other party contact each other directly. Bale My Land doesn't negotiate, set rent, draft leases, or act as a real estate broker.
